About The Author
Taunya Renee Muntzinger grew up in Hazard, Kentucky, and moved to Louisville at nineteen. She has a background in telecommunications and is the mother of six. Her memoir started as a letter to her children explaining her absence during her mental health struggles and grew into a story to help others navigate similar challenges. Through her writing , Renee aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, promote resilience, and encourage readers to embrace faith, self-acceptance, and the courage to rebuild their lives.

Renee is the wife of Adam Muntzinger and together they are blessed with 6 special needs children. Their children all have autism. Renee has been married 3 times and did her schooling at Jefferson Community Technical College in Louisville, Kentucky. She paid her services over 20 years in telecommunications.
